Adam sits down with brothers Andy and Charlie Nelson from Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery to talk about Thanksgiving favorites, their new Nelson’s First 108 Tennessee Whiskey, based on their great-great-great grandfather’s recipe, and their varieties of Belle Meade Bourbon.
Stay warm with this Belle Meade Bourbon cocktail recipe, The Old Oak:
1.5 oz Belle Meade Bourbon
3/4 oz Meletti Amaro
1/4 oz Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao
1 dash Angostura bitters
Place all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice and stir briefly. Strain the cocktail into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with the expressed oil of an orange twist floating on top of the drink.
