Emerging out of Orange County, Teenage Priest aka Taylor Van Ginkel is a solo musician perfecting modulated loop based Lo-Fi beats. Coupled with melancholy self-aware lyrics, Teenage Priest allows you to feel emotion while somehow simultaneously lowering your blood pressure. These factors, among others, make Teenage Priest truly shine as a producer and writer.

With the pandemic in full swing, Van Ginkel, a seasoned touring musician, had to find somewhere else to expel his creative juices. In the mundane downtime that was 2020, Teenage Priest conceptualized his debut EP “Rhymes and Rhythms”, and has garnered over seven million streams since it was released! Following that success, his debut album, Let It Pass, released in early December 2022. After this, his independently released breakout single titled “Cool To You” roped in an astonishing twenty-five million streams globally.

Besides his own creations, Teenage Priest spends his time as a touring guitarist for Bishop Briggs. He has also co-written on numerous tracks for her project. He’s also recently produced the song “Dope Sick” by Love Spells and Deb Never, while having a variety of cuts on the horizon.
