Today’s DJ Pick of the Week goes to Imagine Dragons for their newest single “Follow You”. This is one of the two tracks put out by the alternative rock group on March 12th. After waiting almost 2 years for new music, fans have been buzzing over the latest sounds from Imagine Dragons.

The pair of tracks is set to be featured on the band’s forthcoming album. “I’ve been working on this album with the guys for the last three years and feel both excited and anxious for their release,” explained front man Dan Reynolds in a recent Twitter post. “’Follow You’ is a song about loyalty and love. Loving someone is an incredibly imperfect process. It isn’t always romantic or pretty. Sometimes it can be incredibly painful.” He goes on to explain how this song was written after getting back together with his partner, Aja.

Reynolds continues to explain how the other track, “Cutthroat” is “the opposite side of the record, both sonically and thematically. It’s an exorcism of self pity.” It is unknown when this new album will be released, but everyone seems to be extremely excited for it.

A few days after the release of “Follow You”, the band dropped an official music video featuring It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia stars Rob McElhenney and Kaitlin Olson. The video was shot inside The Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. The location seems to be a reference to the bands’ origin. Check it out below!
