Corin Tucker and Carrie Brownstein of Sleater-Kinney return with “Worry With You”, Stephanie’s DJ Pick of the Week! The band released this song in May ahead of their new album Path of Wellness, which is out June 11th.

The song is ripe with classic guitar riffs and a chanting, catchy chorus. It’s a great reminder of how Sleater-Kinney made their mark on the indie rock scene in the early 2000s. Brownstein and Tucker sing in unison as they describe a couple moving together through life and working through their issues as a positive (but perhaps codependent) team. They show this through the line the song takes its name from: “If I’m gonna worry, I’m gonna worry with you.”

“We wrote it last spring and summer, holed up in Portland,” says the band on their Twitter account. The music video is reflective of this. It tells the story of two women who struggle to find enough space in their tiny apartment to get a break from each other. Check it out below.
