Thanksgiving is for giving thanks, Black Friday/Cyber Monday for savings, but what about November 29th? Tuesday, November 29th we are celebrating Giving Tuesday alongside Second Harvest Middle Tennessee with the Giving Food Day Radio-a-thon!

Giving Tuesday started as a social change movement to encourage radical generosity around the world. The day will be dedicated to giving back. Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee has dubbed Giving Tuesday as Giving Food Day. For the first time ever, your donations will be tripled to provide meals to kids, families, and seniors facing hunger.

1 in 8 people face food insecurity in Middle and West Tennessee, according to Second Harvest. For 45 years, they have been serving the Middle and West TN communities providing access to those facing food insecurity. Their goal for Giving Food Day is $500,000. This will provide over 200,000 meals to Tennesseans facing hunger!

All day we are hosting a radio-a-thon filled with guests to encourage giving to Second Harvest. Check out the schedule below!
