Singer-songwriter Jace Everett joined Lt. Dan in the Volume.com studio Thursday afternoon to chat about his new EP “Way Down Here” and perform “Dance with Me” and “Bad Things”.
Everett has been releasing music since 2005. “Bad Things” – the opening song for the HBO hit show “True Blood” – has been streamed over 46 million times on Spotify.
Everett continued to release music throughout the pandemic, including a collaboration with Norwegian musician Amund Maarud. His music feels like the perfect duo of country and jazz. It’s a sound that’s on full display in the first two singles from “Way Down Here.” You can hear Everett perform his latest tracks during his show at 3rd & Lindsley on June 1.
