Marc Scibilia

Marc Scibilia is our next Frothy Monkey Local Artist of the Week! The New York turned East Nashville native recently released the piano-driven, upbeat track “Smile”. The song is a valiant – and much needed – dose of positivity. It’s the kind of post-pandemic anthem the world desperately deserves.

Alongside the original version of the song, Scibilia released a guitar-led version of the song with Mat Kearney. The track is currently the fourth song on Apple Music’s Acoustic Summer playlist.

In 2021, he released a deluxe version of his second album, 2020’s “Seed of Joy”. The acoustic track “Summer Clothes” has over 13 million streams on Spotify.

Scibilia has been touring consistently for the better part of a decade. Although he doesn’t have a tour scheduled for this year, he’ll pay a visit down to Franklin for Pilgrimage Music Festival this fall.

But Scibilia is a pro when it comes to crowds. He’s toured with James Bay, Zac Brown Band and played festivals like Firefly and Austin City Limits.

In 2018, he played Lightning 100’s Nashville Sunday Night at 3rd & Lindsley and this Friday he’ll take the stage at Assembly Food Hall for Friday Afternoon Live.

Scibilia’s music is raw and honest. He can rock a local dive just as easily as he can command a festival stage.

His sound is universal.
