Beach Bunny is an American rock band known for their pop punk ballads and viral hits. The band was originally a solo project created by lead singer, Lili Trifilio and became a full time band in 2017. The band is known for their viral Tiktok song “Prom Queen” which has reached over 600 million streams on Spotify. Since then the band has released two more albums, and is putting out another album this April called Tunnel Vision.
Beach Bunny continues with their classic pop punk sound with Lili Trifilio’s striking vocals, dynamic instrumentation, and powerful lyricism. The song describes the feelings of self-doubt, anxiety, and self-sabotage. With strong lyrics like “I don’t trust my opinions / And my intuition terrible at telling left from right / I never see the signs” the song captures the experience of spiraling because of self-doubt. The music video captures the vibes of the introspective lyrics and combines it with whimsical and playful visuals. It shows Lili Trifilio going down the rabbit hole of self-doubt, but in a quirky and relatable way with mystery doors, magic eight balls, and clones!
