Friday Rev’s DJ Pick- Robert Plant “Everybody’s Song”
Rev’s pick this Friday is a new single from Led Zeppelin frontman- turned- Nashville- Americana-artist Robert Plant. The latest addition to the legend’s catalog is an eerie acoustic folk tune, with hints of Plant’s rock background. Everybody’s song features the vocals of Plant and his co-front Suzi Dian. This is the second single off of the upcoming Saving Grace album. Additionally, not only is Saving Grace the name of the album, but the name of Plant’s new band that has been in the works for 6 years. This new direction is almost a return to Robert Plant’s folk roots pre- Led Zeppelin as it centers around his home in the English countryside.
Everybody’s Song feels like the middle ground between Plant’s work with Zeppelin, and his collaborations with Allison Krauss. Give it a listen below and on Lightning 100 radio!
