It’s day 4 of Hoptober and today DJ Jayson and Matt Leff of Rhizome Productions are celebrating with Bitburger’s Festbier. If 2020 wrecked your plans to visit Germany for Oktoberfest, why not recreate it at home with this brew from Bitburger?
Bitburger’s take on the traditional festbier is 6.2% ABV. It’s a little sweet and malty with a lighter hop. It’s a drinkable, full bodied beer. The brewmasters over at Bitburger use a unique malt composition, including Pilsner Malt, Münchner Malt and a light Caramel Malt. The combination of malt gives it the fine color and smooth body. Festbier is refined with Bitburger’s one of a kind hop blend, Siegelhopfen, sourced from a farm just minutes away from the brewery. Festbier is crisp, malty, and would pair so well with some sausages on the grill!
Bitburger has been brewing out of Bitburg, Germany since 1817, they definitely know what they’re doing with this one! They come in a 6-pack of 11.2 ounce bottles. You won’t be able to find them at the grocery store, only at beer stores so keep your eyes peeled!
