Lightning 100 announces Zach Seabaugh as our Frothy Monkey Local Artist of the Week!
Zach Seabaugh is a Nashville based singer-songwriter who describes his music as “moody” and more in the indie-pop sphere. He grew up singing in his church choir until he began to play the guitar. He received a music business degree from Middle Tennessee University where he played shows and planted the seeds for his artist career.
Some of his influences he has cited include Ben Rector, Jack Johnson, and John Mayer.
Seabaugh has grown his following over the years, amassing millions of streams and playing sold-out shows across the country.
“Christmas Lights” is a clever and catchy song reminiscent of Zach Bryan, Noah Khan, or Caamp. An acoustic track supplemented by crowd vocals and hand claps, “Christmas Lights” follows a man who fell in love with a girl who seems to pay him no mind. He doesn’t give up however, to a degree he describes as embarrassing, like leaving your Christmas lights out till June.
Listen to a live in-studio performance by Zach Seabaugh today on Jayson’s morning show at 9:30 a.m. right here on Lightning 100.
Come see Zach Seabaugh live at the Cannery Hall on June 21 here in Nashville, TN. Get your tickets to the show here.
Tune in to 100.1 FM and lightning100.com all week to hear “Christmas Lights” by Zach Seabaugh, our Frothy Monkey Local Artist of the Week!
