Jay: “Twisted On A Train” by King Tuff

For Jay’s pick of the week, he chose King Tuff’s first single from his upcoming album MOO. “Twisted On A Train” is a fun, upbeat rock track that feels true to King Tuff’s strange, raw style. If you’re not already familiar with his work, he’s well worth checking out. Currently based in Vermont, King Tuff balances music with a variety of eclectic hobbies and will be touring the USA starting April this year.

Dan: “Nowhere to Go” by The Cold Stares

For Dan’s pick of the week, he chose the new single from The Cold Stares “Nowhere to Go.” The song is a single off their album “TEXAS” which will be out May 1st later this year. The Cold Stares is one of the last blues rock trio’s left in the world today and has garnered a loyal following.

Stephanie: “If You Know Me” by Hudson Freeman

Hudson Freeman’s “If You Know Me” has gained a lot of traction over social media in recent months. The track is held down by an acoustic guitar riff that has taken TikTok by storm, inspiring tens of thousands of covers to be uploaded to the site. One of those to cover the riff is none other than John Mayer. While 27-year-old Hudson Freeman has been experiencing much recent success, he has been diligently pushing out his acoustic songs for the past 12 years. Hudson is someone who has paid his dues and it’s difficult not to root for him.

Rev: “Different Kind Of Love” by Young the Giant

“Different Kind Of Love” is a single that has a message of empathy. According to the band, unconditional love has become an act of resistance, and that is much of the spirit behind the song. This is the band’s 22nd year running and their music is still imbued with the millennial-era optimism they became known for.
