It’s a bittersweet day here at Lightning 100 – the final installment of our Brews In Bloom segment featuring the Little Harpeth Mosaic India Pale Kolsch. It’s a unique sort of single-hop beer. It’s bright, crisp, and highly drinkable, with the India Pale Kolsch complementing a complex mosaic hop. Notes of mango, guava, apple, and pear make this a refreshing standout.
Jayson and Matt Leff of Rhizome Productions were joined by Michael Kwas, the founder and brewmaster at Little Harpeth Brewing, who told us about how they came to create this unique twist on the Kolsch classic. We’ll be back soon with our list of summertime beers, but until then, check out the full video below. You can also catch our all of our Brews In Bloom segments with full video here, including this episode below. Prost!
