This is a band in-tune with each other! Resonating voices and incredibly executed instrumentation are the staples of this Nashville-based band. Any fan of American Rock was a fan of Cordovas on Sunday, March 25th at 3rd and Lindsley for Nashville Sunday Night. This band is expert at fusing the best eras of rock–with traits reflective of the 60’s and 70’s, as well as their distinct influence from Southern Rock. With an already-becoming-iconic sound, they’ve caught the attention of many well-respected musicians, two of which joined them on stage. Zane Carney (former guitar player for John Mayer), and Jason “Slim” Gambill (of Lady Antebellum) all joined Cordovas during their set. And though the radio broadcast of Nashville Sunday Night ends at 10 pm, the Cordovas played well until 11pm–giving those at 3rd and Lindsley a night to remember. They highlighted songs from their new album coming out in July, That Santa Fe Channel, produced by Milk Carton Kids’ Kenneth Pattengale.

Nashville Sunday Night is a special presentation of Nashville’s Independent Radio, Lightning 100. Each Sunday night Lightning 100 broadcasts a concert from 3rd and Lindsley, one of Nashville’s finest live music venues.
