A longtime friend of the station, Santo Pullella, stopped by our studio to let our listeners know about their last chance to Drive the Music and help Nashville’s independent venue. We were happy to let Santo drive our airwaves for an hour with stories from backstage at 3rd & Lindsley while playing some of his favorite tracks from shows he has produced at the venue.
Drive the Music is a campaign created by the team over at Two Rivers Ford. Casey chatted with Matthew Barker on the615 on how and why he came up with the fundraiser. Through Two Rivers Ford’s partnering with Music Venue Alliance Nashville (MVAN), “Drive the Music” was born. The joint initiative aims to keep independent venues kicking through the support of fans. Folks can buy a Drive The Music t-shirt for $30 or make a donation at the Drive the Music website, with all proceeds going to Music Venue Alliance Nashville!
