Avett Brothers by Brian Waters Photography-1The Avett Brothers stopped by the Lightning 100 studio to play a few tunes off their upcoming album True Sadness and chat with Lt. Dan about the different meanings of the new album title. The guys played “Ain’t No Man,” which you’ve heard spinning on Lightning 100, and two new tracks titled “Smithsonian” and “I Wish I Was.” Not only were we at the station lucky enough to witness this sneak peek of the new album, a few lucky winners also joined us in the studio to see their favorite family band. See photos from this in-studio performance hereTrue Sadness is out June 24.
