Lightning 100 Salutes

Join us on Monday, November 11th as we spotlight Middle Tennessee Veterans Charities dedicated to supporting our nations military. We’ll feature organizations that provide crucial resources like housing, mental health services, job training, and family support for veterans. This special broadcast will provide a platform for the community to connect with these charities and contribute to their mission of uplifting and assisting our local veterans.

The Gary Sinise Foundation serves the nation by honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need.

Songwriting With: Soldiers – Pairs veterans and active-duty service members with professional songwriters in retreat settings to craft songs about combat and the return home.

Operation Stand Down is a Veteran-serving agency in middle Tennessee connecting Veterans with careers, community, and crisis services.

Provides free lodging for families of veterans getting medical care.

Provides long term support to veterans from local areas that have sustained permanent combat injuries fighting the long war on terror for our nation.  The Joshua Chamberlain Society also provides long term support to the children of local veterans.

Empowers veterans with information on benefits and tools for success in life after the military. Nashville Serving Veterans also provides information on transition, housing, benefits, education, taxes, and healthcare.

Helps veterans and their families receive the benefits they’ve earned including healthcare, disability, employment, education, financial benefits and more.

Reboot Recovery

Helps people overcome trauma through faith-based trauma healing courses, training, and online community. Recovery is open to anyone looking to move forward from trauma and tragedy into a better future.
