Jayson’s pick: Savannah Conley “Like Never”
This week, Jayson’s pick is “Like Never” by Savannah Conley. Savannah is a local Nashville artist and she just released an EP last week titled Love You, Mean It. Savannah blends folk rock, pop, and country in her music and takes a lot of influence from Nashville. Her emotional and heartfelt lyrics are heard in this song with a very rock/indie instrumental vibe. “Like Never” shifts from her usual music that has more folky influence. This shows how she can diversify her sound and be authentically herself. Go take a listen!

Since this release, their second single for the album, “The Burning of Cork”, has been put out. This song has a very indie vibe and slow jam. “Masquerade” is a more intimate song on their album and is worth the shoutout. The gritty and raw style of this tune is worth the listen.
