FREE playtime with Metro Parks! I am not sure why it took me so long to find this out, but Metro Parks does a FREE Tot Time four days a week! Tuesdays and Thursdays at Seiver Park Community Center and Wednesdays and Fridays at Shelby Community Center. It’s very low key and provides a safe place for the little ones to run around and socialize. There are tons of balls, some bikes, hula hoops and more.
Zoo Tots Registration is open! Ya’ll I am so excited about this! The Nashville Zoo hosts a 6-week series for kids 2-5 twice a year and the first one in 2020 is coming up in March. If you are interested in this, I would sign up ASAP!
Mother’s Day Out/ Preschool Tip This is just a tip because it caught me off guard last year. If you are looking to enroll your little human in a Mother’s Day Out or Preschool Program this fall, start doing your research right now. Most of the programs in Nashville take registration next month for a start date in the fall. Most don’t have room to accept even half of the kids that apply.
Celebrate Dolly’s Birthday! Dolly Parton has to be one of the most amazing humans ever. And the cherry on top is her Imagination Library. If you had your children in TN, you are most likely already aware of this program. But if you didn’t you should check out! White’s Mercantile | Jan. 18 at 10:30 am Bring the family to a singalong and reading of “Groovy Joe: Ice Cream and Dinosaurs” led by Holly Williams. There will also be crafts, a book giveaway and light snacks. A portion of sales will go toward Imagination Library of Middle Tennessee.
Graduate Hotel | Jan. 18 at 10am One of Nashville’s Newest Boutique hotels, Graduate Hotel is hosting a party Saturday complete with book reading of “Good Night Nashville”, by author Jennifer Hillen, crafts with local children’s shop, Magpies and cookies provided by local bakery, Baked on 8th.
