If you’ve ever walked down 12 South, you’ve most likely found your eyes drawn to the coolest, possibly only, mobile flower shop you’ve ever seen. Amelia’s Flowers is famous for its iconic VW Transporters. The truck holds an assortment of colorful flowers. And it’s BYOB! Build your own bouquet of course. It’s this one-of-a-kind experience that has made Amelia’s Flower Truck a Nashville staple.

Mattie Bush managed a local food truck before deciding she wanted to start her own business. Not only did she want to start her own business, but she also wanted to bring people joy and what better way than flowers? With past experience with a mobile business, she decided to put the flowers on a truck. The first flower truck was so popular, Mattie quickly added two more trucks to her fleet as Amelia’s Flowers quickly grew.

The growth has only continued as Amelia’s Flowers has expanded into brick-and-mortar storefronts. These shops, located in The Factory at Franklin and at The L&L Market in West Nashville, offer the popular bouquets as well as workshops, “Tea Time” on Tuesdays, and macaroons on the weekends. These storefronts also offer an event space for bridal showers, bachelorette parties, and any other event you’d like to host in the fragrant space of Amelia’s Flowers.

“Everyone’s welcome, flowers for everyone… We just want everyone to feel like they can be their own florist or be a little floral designer for the day.”

Mattie Bush
