At the suggestion of Phil Camino (of 2+2 Management) and Chris Allen (The Collective Music Group) Tuohy traveled to Nashville, Tennessee – shortly after the release of ‘Pink Balloon’ – where he met and played for Gilles Godard (Olé Publishing). Gilles, who attributed Diamond Carter’s soulful sound and Tuohy’s vocal stylings to that of a “male Amy Winehouse,” suggested that Tyler get the band out to the artistic community of East Nashville where he felt they would flourish.
With the help of Diamond Carter’s Producer, Michael “Creamy Suga” Gigante, the boys were brought out to East Nashville to once again embrace an awaiting scene. They quickly found support from Lighting 100 Nashville’s Independent Radio – who named them Artist Of The Week, twice – and gave ample airplay to three of their singles (“Let Yourself Be Loved”; “Cali Christmas”; and “Evil Is A Young Man’s Game”) during the band’s first year in Nashville.
In East Nashville, the boys found a new cast of characters and a slew of fresh stories. These are the songs that are shaping up “Pink Balloon’s” follow-up album, which is to be recorded in June and released in the Fall of 2014
