Local artist of the week Jadea Kelly is a lilting mix of Iris De Ment and Emmylou Harris. Despite her grounding in roots music, Jadea is known widely for her vocal work with Canadian metal band Protest the Hero – who have featured her on Kezia 2005 and Scurillous 2011.
