West Virginia songwriter Charles Wesley Godwin was raised in the hills of Morgantown. He’s shared bills with Shooter Jennings, Luke Combs, Tyler Childers, and many more. Unlike many of today’s musicians, Godwin didn’t grow up with a guitar in his hand. He didn’t start playing music until college and even then it was merely a hobby. That hobby grew and he learned he was actually pretty good at it. He decided to begin a full time music career in 2015 and has only gone up from there.
