Charlie Abbott is a singer/songwriter currently living in Nashville Tennessee. Charlie’s new EP entitled “Watch Me Explode” will be his 5th solo release to date. Never to be confined by genre, on “Watch Me Explode” Charlie explores low-fi sensibility whilst crafting snappy garage pop that will likely find a home with fans of Modest Mouse and The Strokes.

Charlie has traveled extensively playing music and has shared the stage with notable artists Mat Kearney, Houndmouth, Peter Hook and the Light, Phosphorescent, PHOX, Andrew Ripp and Willy Porter. Additionally, Charlie has worked in the studio with producers Vance Powell (The White Stripes, Dead Weather) Chris Grainger (Wilco, Switchfoot) and Art Alexakis (Everclear. “Watch Me Explode” will be released in the fall of 2015 on American Cadence Records.

Nashville Sunday Night is a special presentation of Nashville’s Independent Radio, Lightning 100. Each Sunday night Lightning 100 broadcasts a concert from 3rd and Lindsley, one of Nashville’s finest live music venues. January 24, 2016 featured BASSH with Charlie Abbott.
