A New Jersey native, Dylan Altman has been writing songs and performing in Nashville for over 20 years. He has several number one country songs by artists including Tim McGraw, Jake Owen, and Jason Alden. Last Sunday, with help from other Nashville musicians including Gabe Dixon, Alison Prestwood, and Ben Sesar, Dylan Altman performed a set of impassioned blues jams that got everyone’s feet tapping. While Nashville is full of bands offering new interpretations of blues inspirations, sometimes you just yearn for that classic old-school blues sound.
