Jeff Plankenhorn, opening act for Ray Wylie Hubbard, is an Austin musician, songwriter, and world-famous slide guitar player. Plankenhorn opened with a rousing 40-minute set featuring his soulful, bluesy voice, songs from his most recent album SoulSlide, and “The Plank”, a slide guitar of his own design.
