Jessy Wilson celebrated her solo career and new album “Phase” with a hometown show at 3rd and Lindsley for Nashville Sunday Night. Before Wilson moved to Nashville and began working on songwriting as a solo artist, she worked her way through several different paths of the music industry. She started young, singing Off Broadway and learning her way through musical theater. Then she became a background singer for international R&B tours including one for John Legend. Through this he became her mentor and ultimately she decided to become a full-time songwriter. She moved to Nashville and collaborated with Patrick Carney to create “Phase”. She has also collaborated with Usher, Kanye West, Faith Hill, and Macy Gray. Check out Wilson’s full Nashville Sunday Night set below!
