Since their arrival to Nashville’s music scene in 2014 Roanoke has dedicated a lot of their time to the road. The Quintet’s sophomore release, an EP titled Where I Roam captures the longing feeling of being away from home. Roanoke’s dynamic Nashville Sunday Night performance carried the spirit of Americana to 3rd and Lindsley. The vocal harmonies sounded as strong as the bands bond appeared when they gathered around one mic to perform a couple songs acoustically. The band also brought a cover of “Never Been to Spain” (a song made popular by Three Dog Night in the 1970s), and a Jefferson Airplane medley to the stage. Our live broadcast may have ended at 10:00, but Roanoke continued with a few songs and closed with their bluegrass soaked cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain”.
Be sure to listen to Roakoke’s EP Where I Roam and check out their Nashville Sunday Night set below.
