Billy Strings – Must Be Seven

1965

New grass virtuoso Billy Strings dropped his sophomore album, Home, last fall, and we’re still navigating through the 14-song journey. Strings, who blends jam grass with psychedelia, has secured himself as a staple in the festival circuit and is selling out theaters and venues around the world including his last Nashville show at Marathon Music Works.

His next local show will be with a much grander audience at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival this summer, but that isn’t his only tie to Music City. His track “Must Be Seven” features Nashville’s own Molly Tuttle on vocals. He told Relix he met Tuttle at Newport Folk Festival and knew he wanted her on the song. She enthusiastically agreed. Listen below and let us know what you think!
