Casey here with my DJ pick of the week from The Boss, Bruce Springsteen. Springsteen recently released “Hello Sunshine,” the first track from his forthcoming album, Western Stars.It’s a new sound for the nearly 70-year-old Springsteen.
He told Variety, “That album is influenced by Southern California pop music of the ’70s: Glen Campbell, Jimmy Webb, Burt Bacharach, those kinds of records. I don’t know if people will hear those influences, but that was what I had in my mind.”
