R&B indie aficionado Son Little has been staying busy. He recently announced the release of his third studio album aloha, due in late January after dropping his invisible EP earlier this year. Recorded at Paris’s Studios Ferber, the EP marks musician Aaron Earl Livingston’s first time using an outside producer, Renaud Letang (Feist, Manu Chao).
“I’d always produced myself in the past,” says Little, “but it’s easy to get caught up in an endless quest for perfection when you do that. Working with Renaud let me see my work from an outsider’s perspective, and that helped me get out of my own way.”
