Casey here with my DJ pick of the week, and this one has an interesting story. As you may or may not know, we host a weekly music meeting open to anyone who wants to pitch their music to the station. Last week, we had a group that traveled oversees to come see us!
The Common Linnets are a Dutch quartet who found European success with their single “Calm After The Storm.” Although the track is a few years old, it has never had any U.S. recognition, so I’m making it my responsibility to spread the love. She even initiated her very own Country music themed festival ‘Tuckerville NL’, which draws a large international audience and offers a great stage for every serious country musician!
