This week Casey is going with a selection from the lovable rockers, Weezer. “Hero” is part of Weezer’s fourteenth album “Van Weezer.” The band tributes this song to people impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The song is for “the stay at home dreamers, the zoom graduators, the sourdough bakers, and the essential workers.”
Although Weezer had to postpone their “Hella Mega” tour with Green Day and Fall Out Boy, the band is still making use of their guitar picking skills. You can even watch them perform “The Simpsons Theme” in Simpson character form on The Simpsons episode released May 10, 2020.
