This week, Nathan Schneider and Kayla Witty became Nashville’s favorite lovebirds, winning a virtual wedding as part of Lightning 100’s From This Stream Forward. If there were ever a reminder that love is not cancelled, it’s Nathan and Kayla – who have been putting others before themselves for the duration of their five year engagement. But THIS Sunday, we are so ready to introduce the world to Mr. and Mrs. Schneider.
Nathan and Kayla have known each other for 15 years, first meeting in the Young Americans performing arts program in California in 2005. Nathan later came to Tennessee for school, but after a project brought them together in Germany in 2011, the couple rekindled the relationship and got engaged in 2015. Both sharing a passion for education and the arts though, the two chose to prioritize their touring educational endeavors over tying the knot. After all, the friends they had made throughout their world travels together would never be able to all come together to one place for a ceremony.
