Caroline Rose’s secret show became not-so-secret after admission was open to anyone who donated an item towards victims of the Nashville and Middle Tennessee tornadoes.
Few people could have expected the disastrous effects of the early morning tornado, so Nashville awoke to a city and region torn by natural disaster. Rose reacted generously, opening up her show to anyone who donated towards relief.
Rose’s brand of quirky stage banter and thematic aesthetics were on full display Tuesday night at Dirty Little Secret. Invoking themes from her upcoming album “Superstar,” Rose’s set design and attire reflected the eccentric styles from the concept album. “Superstar” is said to tell the story of mistaken identity, big dreams and the promise of fame, with existentialism and glamour to spare.
Rose’s new album will be available everywhere March 6!
