This past Friday, David Newbould performed for Lightning 100’s third Friday Afternoon Live. In the week leading to the performance, Lightning 100 played “Power Up!”, which is the second single released in preparation for Newbould’s new album. The Nashville-based artist has a voice that embodies “that high and lonesome state of being.” Newbould’s music has been featured in shows such as Criminal Minds, Dawson’s Creek, and Streets of Blood. Additionally, his releases have received enthusiastic critical acclaim, as well as high ranking spots on multiple charts. David Newbould’s forthcoming album, Power Up!, will be released on June 10.
