11. Ben Sollee – “Electrify”(Bonnaroo)

Bonnaroo heat can sometimes be overbearing to festival goer.  Shade trees are sometimes the only way to escape the heat.  We setup with Ben Sollee under one of these shade trees in the middle of Centeroo.  Some people did not even notice a guy with a cello setting up next to them.  After Ben performed “The Globe”, the crowd asked for another.

10. Dawes – Time Spent In Los Angeles(In-Studio)

9. Gary Clark Jr. – Don’t Owe You a Thang(Live at Nashville Sunday Night)

8. KS Rhoads – Invincible Fortress(In-Studio)

Being the only person in the room without headphones, I never expected this video to be so beautiful.  KS Rhoads visits the Lightning 100 studio to promote his show with Nashville Symphony at Live On the Green.  KS performs a new song called “Invisible Fortress” using a loop petal.

7. Andrew Belle – The Ladder (Live at Nashville Sunday Night)

Local artist Andrew Belle joins us for an edition of Nashville Sunday Night at 3rd & Lindsley. Check out this performance of the title track from his CD “The Ladder” with a little explanation from Andrew Belle.  Andrew was the first artist we filmed at 3rd & Lindsley!

6. The Doobie Brothers – Black Water(In-Studio)

The Doobie Brothers visit the Lighting 100 studio before their surprise visit to Music City Roots! Watch as The Doobie Brothers put Lt. Dan on the spot and get him to sing along to “Black Water” during the show. The song “Black Water” was just released on their new album “World Gone Crazy.”

5. Michael Franti & Spearhead – Sounds of Sunshine(Hangout Music Fest)

4. Foster the People – Pumped Up Kicks(Live at Grimey’s)

3. Fitz & the Tantrums – Steady As She Goes(Raconteurs Cover)

Fitz & the Tantrums play a secret show at Marathon Recorders for some Lightning 100 fans! Check out this cover of “Steady As She Goes” by The Raconteurs.  It was our second visit to Marathon Recorders.  The first one was with Paul McDonald before he went on American Idol.

2. The Civil Wars – Barton Hollow(In-Studio)

1. Apache Relay – American Nomad(Bonnaroo)

Right after Apache Relay got off stage with Mumford & Sons at Bonnaroo, we asked the guys if they would like to do a video.  Instead of doing a normal backstage video, we set the guys up on a golf cart and drove them around Centeroo performing the song “American Nomad.”  MacGyver would of been proud of our duck tape job to secure the audio device.  Special thanks to Bonnaroo security for allowing us to take two golf carts in to Centeroo!
