Cherry Glazerr was kind enough to stop by and play some tasty tunes for us on June 11 before their busy week on the road to Roo. Tonight they play Exit/In with The Nude Party and beloved locals, The Medium. After they exit tonight’s stage, they are on their way to the next at the farm. In between songs, front-woman Clementine Creevy shares her unique plans for the weekend with Dan.

Clem begins strumming her guitar, and it is instantly clear that this performance is unique. Her voice already stands out for its one-of-a-kind raspy and ethereal nature, but this stripped-down set allows you to give it the attention it deserves. Watch her perform “Self-Explained” here:

Video shot and edited by Matthew Khan.

“Self-Explained” is a song off their recent album, Stuffed & Ready. This project was released at the top of February of this year, and they have played dozens of shows in promotion of this project, including British Summer Time in Hyde Park.

This indie grunge group is no stranger to braving a stage in the daylight, they have played FYF, Bumbershoot, Music Tastes Good Festival and more. They know all the tricks of the trade at this point, including why you might find a case of Coors Banquet in front of her pedalboard at This Tent on Friday.

Aside from Cherry Glazerr’s performance, Clem has other business at Bonnaroo to attend. SheROO is a yearly initiative put on by the festival to celebrate, inspire, and create a network of women/ non-binary identifying Bonnaroovians. This year, Clem has the honor of lending her insight at this camp in the “Casually Killin’ It” panel. She describes her excitement, “it’s going to be great, a bunch of great folks is organizing it and it’s awesome!”

Before leaving us, they perform “Daddi” and gave it the remix treatment. Clem Creevy tells us, “I think it’s better than the original.” You will want to catch that sick performance and the full interview. Both are included in the audio below!
