Eric Hutchinson stopped by the Lightning 100 studio to play two songs live off of his self-released album from 2007. The album saw its success a week after its release thanks to Perez Hilton. Perez mentioned how much he loved Eric’s album on his website and within a day it was the Fifth Best Album on iTune’s Charts.
Due to the album’s success Eric signed with Warner Music, who had dropped him from the label six months prior to the release of the album. Eric broke records by having the highest charting album by an unsigned artist on iTunes.
