LA-based indie pop trio, lovelytheband, performs two songs from their debut LP Finding It Hard to Smile, released August 3rd. It’s unlikely that you haven’t heard “broken”, the single released in July 2017, which has racked up nearly 28 million streams and become “the longest running #1 track on Alternative Radio thus far in 2018”. Founded in 2016 by lead singer Mitchy Collins, guitarist Jordan Greenwald, and drummer Sam Price, the band is opening for acts like Halsey, Vance Joy, and AWOLNATION, and will join 5 Seconds of Summer on the European stretch of their fall tour. The band has also been exploring the festival world, including Hangout Fest, Summerfest, and Music Midtown. They’ll be back in Nashville on October 10th to play The High Watt, and stop by The Pharmacy for their favorite burger.
