Before hitting the stage tonight to headline Basement East, Erin Rae stopped by the Volume.com studio to chat with Jayson and Melissa! Rae played “True Love’s Face” and “Modern Woman.” Both songs launched with her new album “Lighten Up” this past February.
Rae returned home to Nashville after hitting the road with Lord Huron this summer. She opened for the LA rock band at venues across the country. In June, she played two nights at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado. This fall she’ll cross the Atlantic with Julia Jacklin to open the UK and Europe shows on Jacklin’s Pre Pleasure tour.
