Jay: “Same Stars” by The Vindys
Jay’s Pick of the Week is “Same Stars” by The Vindys this week! Formed in Youngstown, Ohio, in 2014, this trio has continued to push the boundaries of what they can accomplish as a band. With three albums and an EP under their belt (and another on the way ;), The Vindys are consistently releasing diverse arrangements that draw listeners in. Their recent single, “Same Stars,” does just that as a teaser of their upcoming album titled Trap Door. In “Same Stars,” the piano dominates the song rather than the regular guitar sound, but the lyrics continue to build and build as a lower sound echoes throughout. Their new album Trap Door is out April 10th, so presave/pre-order now!
