It’s two-for-Tuesday! Today DJ Stephanie and Matt from Rhizome Productions are tasting Rogue Santa’s Private Reserve and I Believe in Santa Milk and Cookies Stout. Both of these are darker beers, and sure to become new holiday favorites.
Rogue Brewery’s Santa’s Private Reserve tastes like a chocolate covered orange in a glass. This Oregon-based Brewery teamed up with Honey Mama’s Cocoa Truffle Bars to create a chocolatey base with notes of tahini. This is definitely an out of the box brew, but worth your time if you enjoy dark beers.
I Believe In Brewing is a local brewery that releases holiday favorites that we love! We featured I Believe Brewing’s Peppermint Porter last year. This year we tried their Milk and Cookies Stout. “It tastes like Oreos and beer. It can’t get much better than that,” Matt said. This milk stout has hints of chocolate, and is vetted by Mr. Claus himself. If you like milk stouts, we highly recommend this local brew!
