Last night, Vandoliers rocked the stage of 3rd and Lindsley as a part of our Nashville Sunday Night series. Vandoliers, a Texas band that blends every element of Texan culture into one wildly rebellious sound, brought the house down at 3rd and Lindsley. The band jokingly offered an apology to “the innocent bystanders tonight looking for that Nashville country sound,” all the while expressing gratitude to the venue and the city for supporting such diverse sounds in Americana.

To kick off their set, Vandoliers played several back-to-back ska-inspired bangers, complete with mariachi horns, driving beats, and gritty vocals that brought the show to life. From there, Vandoliers launched into a dizzying mix of punk rock, outlaw country, and even Scottish-esque folk. A band that continually evades all attempts at categorization, the Vandoliers prove that the future will see Americana pushing boundaries as the genre never has before. Listen to the full performance below, and come out to future shows in the Nashville Sunday Night series!
