Phillip-Michael Scales is a Nashville-based soul singer who has found success through hard work and dedication to his craft. Having played 308 shows in 2018 when he first started hustling as a musician in Chicago, highlights Scales’ ability to persevere on his path. His sophomore album Good to Be Here comes out on April 25th and details the mental turmoil that comes with independently working toward your dreams. “Can’t Get Enough” is the latest single from Good to Be Here. The song details Scales’ changing feelings as he falls in love. The lyrics “God it feels good to be wanted / Turns out this heart wasn’t haunted / Got good at being alone / You turned us into a home” help to exemplify the transition from being alone to falling in love that Scales has undergone. “Can’t Get Enough” opens with its explosive chorus and instantly draws listeners in with groovy bass, boisterous keys, and layered vocals. The track is catchy and upbeat with a fitting title, as listeners “Can’t Get Enough” once they hear it!
