Guster stopped by the Lightning 100 studio to join Adam and Jayson on the morning show to play some tunes and talk about their appearance at Cannery Ballroom (photos below). The band spoke about everything from their creative processes to answering Adam’s Rapid Fire Five Questions. Guster has been a band for over 25 years; they first began playing around the Boston area as a trio after meeting freshman year of college. The band’s prior acoustic folk sound adds some new flavors by incorporating more synth in the production of their most recent release Look Alive. You can listen below to Guster’s performance of “Hard Times” and their cover of the 1972 Labi Siffre release “Crying Laughing Loving Lying.”
