DJ Mel got the chance to interview folk-pop artist Noah Kahan at Bonnaroo 2023. The rising star gave an inside look about his newly released deluxe album and The Busyhead Project.
The single “Stick Season” became an instant hit for the artist. Released last fall, the song received high praise and easily became one of our most played songs in 2022. The full album, named after the song, was out this past October. It’s popularity was instant, and soon after Kahan reveled seven additional songs with a deluxe version. Stick Season (We’ll All Be Here Forever”) features 21 tracks that spotlights the artist’s clever lyrics and songwriting. He gave us an inside look on his inspiration behind the newest release saying that he “wanted to live in the world that I was in musically and creatively.” Already a hit, this extension got heavy applause.
This past May, Kahan launched the Busyhead Project. Already, he has raised over $300,000 with the goal of 1 million. The project will direct the donations to a number of mental health organizations that aim to increase mental health awareness and provide resources to those in need. Watch him live on October 4th at the Ascend Amphitheatre right here in Nashville!
