Minneapolis guitarist Cory Wong brought the funk to 3rd and Lindsley on January 13, 2019 for Nashville Sunday Night. His winter tour in support of recent album The Optimist made a stop in Nashville last night and features a funky jam-band sound that kept the crowd grooving. Cory’s set reflected his upbringing as the son of a salesman with commercials for merch and two bright green inflatable tube men on stage. He also frequently collaborates with Vulfpeck and Ben Rector.
