Nashville based band The Minks traveled to 3rd & Lindsley in a time machine and brought the sounds of the 70s as they took the stage for this weeks Nashville Sunday Night. Their music is an interflowing of Blues and Psychedelic rock all-encompassing of fuzzy guitar tones, groovy bass lines, and explosive instrumental breakdowns you want to get lost in. The Minks released their first single “Sweet Talk” in 2016 shortly after frontwoman Nikki Barber moved to Nashville in pursuit of music. Nikki plays electric guitar synchronously with her rock forward vocals that are saturated with just the right amount of twang. Alongside Nikki, The Minks are composed of lead electric guitar, drums, and bass. Listen to their full set below and keep an eye out for their first full-length record set to release during the summer of 2019.
