Jayson here with my DJ pick of the week from Austin, Texas outfit Los Coast. With just two released tracks, the band had already earned a reputation as a “must see” band in Texas, delivering impressive, unique live sets.
Now there seems to be a long road of success ahead with the release of their debut album Samsara (New West Records). “Monsters” is the LP’s lead single and features genre-defying sounds from funky grooves to soulful vocals to psych-tinged guitars. In the wake of Samsara, Los Coast continues their 2019 tour opening for both Gary Clark Jr. and St. Paul & The Broken Bones.
